flowers

These are three flowers I designed over the course of a week. I took advantage of the UV imaging function in the blender program. First, I used the background image from the N tool bar, added a plane, edited the plane so it matched the background, and connected the UV images. I applied this technique to all object created in this picture. However, for the stem, I used the cylinder mesh with 16 vertices. For the nodes, I used the Texture coordinate, image texture, add shader, mix shader, and glossy. I used the glossy to .8 to eliminate the black shadow when in a specific angle. Overall, it was very fun to create these three wonderful musketeers.
butterfree
flower and butterfly

I made a butterfly that resembles a monster from the show Pokemon. I used the same method from the flowers to UV map out the object and the image. I created the model from a cylinder and used extrude and scale in edit mode. It was a very fun experience as I loved this monster when I was younger.

This was the combined product of all objects I made during this week-long session. This includes two butterflies and three flowers. I positioned the butterflies and flowers so that it looks natural. The tiger butterfly shown on the left was made using the same technique as the flowers. However, I also added in bone so I could alter the rotation of each wing.
